Gatherings & Events

I hold space for meaningful, heart-led gatherings that offer support, reflection, and connection. My events range from grief circles and Death Cafés to seasonal rituals, grief walks, and workshops that weave together nature, storytelling, and somatic practices. Whether you are seeking a space to navigate loss, explore deeper wisdom, or simply be in community, you are welcome here.

I also appear at selected events beyond those I host—talks, panels, and collaborations—where I share insights on grief, life, and death. See below for upcoming opportunities to connect.

Upcoming Gatherings & Events

March 2025

Monthly Death Cafe

Tuesday 11th March: 12pm - 2pm

An inclusive, informal and friendly opportunity to gather together to eat cake, drink tea and talk about death.

Join us for a Death Café—an open, supportive space to talk about death, share thoughts, and break the taboo around this natural part of life. Together, we’ll explore ways to embrace mortality, live more fully, and transform fear into acceptance. There’s no agenda, no set outcomes—just meaningful conversations in a warm, welcoming environment.
The aim is simple: to increase awareness of death and help us live more fully by acknowledging the finiteness of life.

Please note that this is not a grief support or counselling session but rather a space for open, group-directed discussions with no fixed themes or objectives. Everyone is welcome, and the conversation is always free.

People, Planet, Pint

Thursday 13th March: 6pm - 8pm

Small99’s People, Planet, Pint™: Sustainability Meetup – hosted by Laura Doherty and Scoop & Scales.

Pop down to your local People Planet Pint meetup to find out more about what’s going on locally with sustainability and how you can get involved.

No pitches, powerpoints or panels. Just People, Planet, Pint/s.

Your local meetup is a great place to start your journey or continue learning and meet diverse people to chat about life and how we can sustain it. Every job is a climate job, so come along and learn about how you can take action, as well as what is going on locally.

We welcome everyone, regardless of their experience or background. People Planet Pint is a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning about sustainability and sharing their ideas.

After all, creating a sustainable future requires connected communities. And what better way to bring everyone together than over a drink?
