A More Conscious Approach to Connection

I’ve decided to share this month’s newsletter here on my blog – partly because it almost didn’t happen. Not for lack of connection but because I’ve been deeply immersed in reassessing where and how I show up online.

Over the past week, I’ve been cleaning up my digital presence – bringing my blog back to my website, moving event listings in-house, and rethinking my relationship with social media. Why? Because I want my online space to truly reflect what I offer and the values I hold.

For all its reach, social media has increasingly felt like a space that prioritises profit over people, noise over nuance, and division over depth. And I’m tired – tired of pouring energy into platforms that don’t seem to value those I care about or even humanity itself.

I want to be more intentional with my time, to write and share in ways that feel reciprocal rather than extractive. Instead of scrambling to feed the ever-hungry algorithm, I’d rather cultivate spaces where real connection and conversation can flourish – on my own terms.

This shift has been partly inspired by my friends at Heart Branded’s monthly Social Solvers event, who gave me the space to vent my frustrations while working out how to move forward. Their support helped me clarify what truly matters in this digital space.

So, here’s what that means going forward:

✨ My blog is moving home—to my website, where you’ll always find my latest writing. Over the next few weeks, I’ll transfer content from Substack and work on new, supportive pieces.

✨ Event bookings will now be directly through my site, making it easier to connect without third-party distractions. (If you’ve already booked an event, you don’t need to rebook.)

✨ I’ll still post on social media, but with less urgency and more intention. If you want to stay in the loop, I encourage you to check in here or sign up for my monthly musings if you haven’t already.

This isn’t about disappearing—it’s about being present in the places that matter most. Thank you for being here, for reading, and for walking this path with me. Let’s keep making space for the things that truly nourish us.

With warmth,

Laura x
